ABOUT

Almost Studio is a design practice working on projects between the US and France.

TEAM

ANTHONY GAGLIARDI

Anthony Gagliardi is a co-founder of Almost Studio. He is currently an Instructor at the Syracuse University School of Architecture where he teaches in the undergraduate design studio curriculum. Prior to Syracuse, Anthony was critic at the Yale School of Architecture where he taught a graduate advanced design studio and drawing analysis course with Peter Eisenman. He has worked for firms including Eisenman Architects and Steven Harris Architects on projects ranging from urban master plans to site-specific residences. Anthony received a M.Arch from the Yale School of Architecture, where he was the Yansong Ma Scholar, and a B.S. in Architecture with Distinction from The Ohio State University.



DORIAN BOOTH

Dorian Booth is a co-founder of Almost Studio. He has been a lecturer at the Yale School of Architecture and an Adjunct Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he taught design studio. Additionally, he works on design and technology development at Grain Surfboards. Dorian has previously worked for FreelandBuck and LOT-EK in New York, as well as Joeb Moore & Partners in Greenwich, CT. He received a Master in Architecture from Yale University, where he was the recipient of the AIA Henry Adams Medal, and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.


JESSICA FLORE ANGEL

Jessica Angel is a co-founder of Almost Studio. She has worked in Berlin, New York and the Ivory Coast on projects ranging from furniture to urban design. Prior to Almost Studio, she joined Gakko, an educational startup based in San Francisco while pursuing her investigation on domestic spaces, communes, and household governance as an active member of the Embassy Network. On the side, she runs Phalanx and directs an art festival in France FEŸ-Rencontres d’Arts. She holds a Master in Architecture from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
